The package provides the installation files for Panasonic Intel Management Engine Interface Driver version 1914.12.0.1254.

I have installed that version 11.6.0.1045, restarted my laptop and yellow mark is still there in Device Manager. Intel (R) Management Engine Interface driver has failed to perform handshake with the Firmware (FWSTS0: 0x1E000042, FWSTS1: 0x6600A106). The Intel (R) Management Engine Interface is being disabled. Intel (R) Management Engine Interface driver has become one of the major cause for shutdown related issues in windows laptops. To fix the incomeplete shutdown bug (Light stays on and screen goes black), one needs to downgrade to Intel (R) Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver to a lower version (From version 11 to 9 or 10).

If the driver is already installed on your system, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix various issues, add new functions, or just upgrade to the available version. Take into consideration that is not recommended to install the driver on Operating Systems other than stated ones.

In order to manually update your driver, follow the steps below (the next steps):

1. Extract the .cab file to a folder of your choice
2. Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer, choose Manage and then find Device Manager in the left panel), or right click on Start Menu for Windows 10 and select Device Manager
3. Right click on the hardware device you wish to update and choose Update Driver Software
4. Choose to select the location of the new driver manually and browse to the folder where you extracted the driver
5. If you already have the driver installed and want to update to a newer version got to 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'
6. Click 'Have Disk'
7. Browse to the folder where you extracted the driver and click Ok

About ME Drivers:

The Management Engine feature enables computers to make use of various technologies such as AMT or power management. Installing appropriate drivers allows compatible systems to benefit from this feature embedded in the CPU chipset.
By updating this software to a newer version, you get various stability improvements, enhanced compatibility with different components, and even added support for new technologies.
To benefit from all these, make sure that the download record is suitable for your system characteristics, get the package, run the setup, and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete installation. Also, don't forget to perform a reboot so that all changes take effect.
Bear in mind that, even though other platforms might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on operating systems other than the highlighted ones.
That being said, if you intend to apply this ME release, click the download button and install the package. Don't forget to check back with our website as often as possible so that you don't miss a single new release.

Intel Management Engine Interface Driver Win7

Hello,
Been searching about this issue and most of what I found says to ignore the error or uninstal AI Suite. But I don't use AI Suite and I'd gladly ignore it if wasn't for the computer freezing every time it enters windows, sometimes I have to wait for like 1 minute to open the start menu. Besides it was working wonderful until today, the only change I've made was installing msi afterburner beta version which I uninstalled again.
I also tried to delete the driver but it comes back after restart, also tried to change the service Driver Foundation to automatic, but the freezing continues and the driver gets an exclamation point.
No idea what else to do.... Can someone help?
Error with the driver installed correctly: The driver DriverWUDFRd failed to load for the device ACPIPNP0A0A2&daba3ff&1.
When I change the service to Automatic I get this one: The device AMDA00 Interface (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device 5 more times. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem.
I'm using windows 7 - 64bits

ASUS Z87-A
Gigabyte GTX770 OC 4Gb
Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB
