at first I was really happy seeing an UBS 3.0 version of the apollo. I thought ok I will buy me an USB 3.0 PCIe expansion Card for my Mac Pro But now I'm really dissapointet and pissed off that is windows only..!!!
Why don't they make an audio interface what is compatible on BOTH plattforms like other manufacturers ??! Is this so difficult?
Apollo Twin USB 3.0 Why no Compatibility for Mac users ??!!! How stupid and ignorand is this ??!!
I looking for a long time to get me an Apollo Interface but I don't have the money to buy me extra a new Mac Pro with TB !!
So did they ever think off the old Mac users here ??!
2012

I just got my new Mac Mini 2012 2.6ghz quad core. I just finished installing a 128GB Samsung SSD, and I put my 1tb hard drive in the other available slot. I installed 16gb of RAM, and I am planning to create a fusion drive. The Mini turns on, and will boot into the OS. (I'm using the Mini. Mac mini (Late 2012 or later) iMac (Late 2012 or later). It will take you to the boot menu where you can select the USB drive. If your Mac has the T2 security chip. I have a Late 2012 Mac mini. I want to replace the hard drive with a SSD. The computer place wants to charge $99 for installing the OS on top of the $129 for installing the new SSD. I never tried to use FreeNAS with a Mac (Mini). But I think that it’s a very good idea. Solid, fast hardware with a small footprint and a reasonable price. What I can say, is, that you are dealing with an UEFI instead of a BIOS. That means you’d have to have a GPT partitioned USB stick and an UEFI compatible boot file.

Information about these and other types of Mac ports is in the specifications for your Mac: Choose Apple menu  > About This Mac, click Support, then click Specifications. Or check your Mac user guide.
